One-on-one Refund Policy
Consider an example that you have requested the 10 hour package.

If you’re not completely satisfied with your first lesson (first hour), you can choose one of two options:

• Switch to Another Tutor: You can opt to switch to a different tutor, and all hours you’ve purchased will remain available with your new tutor. You won’t be charged for the first lesson with the initial tutor.

• Full Refund: Alternatively, you can request a full refund for all hours (including the first lesson). This refund will be processed within 6 days, and may take up to 48 hours before reflecting in your account.

If you miss any lesson (without rescheduling/cancelling with your tutor):

• No Refund For The Lesson: You will not be eligible for a full refund. Students are required to contact their tutors at least 6 hours before scheduled lessons to reschedule or cancel the lesson.

If you no longer need tutoring after a few sessions (for example, after 5 out of 10 lessons), you can request a refund for the unused lessons (in this case, 5 lessons). We will process this refund within 6 days, and the funds generally arrive within 48 hours.

• Please keep in mind that our rates decrease per hour with larger packages (3, 5, 7, 10, 13 hours). If you were to request a 10-hour package and use only 5 hours before requesting a refund for the remaining 5 hours, you would be charged at the discounted rate of the 5-hour package, not the discounted rate for the 10-hour package.

• Additionally, if you have lessons totalling an amount for which no specific package exists, for example, 6 out of 10 hours, the rate for those lessons will be charged at the hourly rate of the next lower package, in this case, the 5-hour package rate, because the 5-hour package is the next lower package and a 6-hour package does not exist.

• Eligibility: Refund requests for the first lesson guarantee must be submitted within 2 days after the first lesson. If more than one lesson has been attended, you will not be eligible for a full refund.

• Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 6 days, and may take up to 48 hours to reflect in your account.

• Changes to Policy: We reserve the right to modify this refund policy. If a refund request was made prior to any changes to the policy, the original terms will apply to that request.
